There is some interest in porting SqueakDBX to different Smalltalk dialects. Jan Vrany wants to port it to Smalltalk/X and Marcelo Cortez to Dolphin.

The main SqueakDBX package is OpenDBX-Core and this package is as ANSI Smalltalk as possible. There is nothing or at least, very little Squeak specific. The specific dialect stuff are in external packages. This make the port easier.

The port to Dolphin is already in progress.
